Should different products have different timer lengths?
As an e-commerce manager, I'm struggling to determine whether I should apply uniform or variable countdown timer lengths across different product categories. My current approach uses a standard 15-minute timer for all products, but I suspect this might not be equally effective for high-ticket items versus impulse purchases. I want to understand how product type, price point, and customer purchase behavior might influence optimal timer durations to maximize conversions without creating artificial pressure.
